WOT-Tech Race/Boost 3500 heads are designed with nitrous/turbo/supercharging in mind. The ports are modified based on extensive flowbench research for the best flow possible. To compliment the the level of detail put into the port work, only the best valvetrain components are used, including Manley retainers, keepers, race flow intake and race master stainless valves, and PAC 1518 springs. The valve spring pockets are machined to increase the spring install height to 1.760" for adequate room before coil bind on any of the matching camshafts we have available up to .610" lift. If you are not running an XFI lobe based cam, you can save some money with the 26986 or LS6 spring options instead (LS6 are good for .510" or less, 26986 are good to over .600" lift)
If you need the lightest valvetrain possible, the titanium Manley retainers are available. If you are going to run a camshaft over .550" lift, we have a valve job to bias flow to improve performance even more. Otherwise, please select the under .550" lift valve job.
